Itinerary Day By Day
Day 1 – Arrival in Guilin
Attractions: Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave
You will be met at the Guilin Airport by your local guide and driven to your hotel to check in. Then you will visit Guilin city’s symbol, Elephant Trunk Hill. Next you will go to Reed Flute Cave to see the colourful stalactites, stalagmites and stone pillars. After the tour you will be returned to your hotel.

Day 2 – Guilin to Yangshuo
Attractions: Li River Hiking, Yangshuo West Street, Impressions of Liu Sanjie Show
In the morning you will be collected from your hotel and taken to Yangdi dock to begin your hike to Xingping. During the day you will need to take local ferries on three occasions to cross the Li River. The karst scenery is amazing and you will also have the opportunity to experience some of the local way of life as you pass through the small villages. The route is flat because it follows beside the river but it is almost twenty kilometres in length so be prepared.
From Xingping you will be driven to Yangshuo. After your long hike you will enjoy relaxing at one of the many cafes around West Street.
In the evening be amazed by the Impressions of Liu Sanjie Sound and Light Show. This is an outdoor performance using the mountains and river of Yangshuo as a natural backdrop. The program lasts for 70 minutes and has a cast of more than 600 local people.

Day 3 – Yangshuo to Guilin
Attractions: Biking around Yangshuo, Moon Hill, Yulong River Rafting
Today you will explore the beautiful rural scenery around Yangshuo by bike. Start by riding through small villages and seeing the everyday life of the Chinese farmer on your way to the Yulong Bridge. Here you can put your bikes on the back of a small raft and drift peacefully down the river. There is no motorised traffic allowed so you can quietly appreciate the passing scenery. Before returning to Yangshuo you can explore the area around Moon Hill and the Big Banyan Tree.
Finish your day with some final shopping in West Street and a well-earned dinner.

Day 4 – Depart Guilin
Today you will be transferred from Yangshuo to Guilin Airport to check in for your flight to your next destination.
